About to take a break...
I'm about to take a deserved break and I have been thinking about the highs and lows of work life over the years.
The highlight that still makes me really smile is while at client’s in February 2020. I had moved to the conference room for a meeting with the MD. I returned to my desk there to find balloons, lots of chocolate gifts etc, all arranged by some wonderful friends there.
A very clever colleague had found out my birthday!
My best work day ever! Then in a few weeks, it all changed and we had those dreaded Covid lockdowns which resulted in some seriously long working hours and awful solitude.
